Happy Sunday Everyone!
Today's Sentimental Sunday Challenge #73 is all about going MONOCHROMATIC! Simply use monochromatic colors in your creations. It could be a one color - color scheme, only neutrals, or a mixing of similar shades of color. Its all up to you!
This was a first for me. I've never done a MONOCHROMATIC creation before and was a little skeptical as how it was going to turn out, so I opted to go with ONLY NEUTRALS. As the card started to come together, I felt more at ease and LOVED the card.
This card is also based on a few challenge going on at Verve Stamps.
The first is the weekly Viva la Verve! September Week2 Sketch Challenge.
I used the Cricut Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge to create the tags. The brown outline was drawn by the Cricut using the Cricut Markers. I simply used Design Studio to size another tag 1/2" smaller than what I wanted to tag to be.
The sentiment is from the "Simple Phrases" by Verve Stamps.
And the "Cappuccino" Baker's Twine is from My Craft Spot.
No card of mine would be complete without a finished inside.
Now, it's YOUR turn! Be sure to check the Sentimental Sundays Blog for more MONOCHROMATIC inspiration. And don't forget to link up your card by Saturday, September 24th 11:59PM EST for your chance to win this week's sponsored prize.

This MONOCHROMATIC card will also be entered into the following challenges:
~ Get Your Diva On by Verve Stamps - MONOCHROMATIC.
~ Flourishes - The Beauty of Color: MONOCHROMATIC.
