Paper Issues: Picnics and Patriots - Patriotic Star Shaped Card

Welcome to Paper Issues' Picnics and Patriots Blog Hop Theme!

Its almost July and time to celebrate the Red, White and Blue!

Maybe you don't do many PATRIOTIC things, but love to squeeze in a PICNIC whenever possible.

However you spend the month of July, this theme is just for YOU!

A few Paper Issues Design Team Members will be featuring an original PICNICS and/or PATRIOTS project.  Make sure to check out each DT member's blog for some awesome inspiration!

There is PRIZE up for grabs at Paper Issues for one participant that submits a "PICNICS and PATRIOTS" project at Paper Issues!
How fun is that?!

Today's PATRIOTIC project re-visits a star-shaped card I made about a year ago when combining a few challenges together.

The base of this PATRIOTIC card was designed with two 5" Simply Charmed Cricut Cartridge shadow stars welded with the Cricut Design Studio software. This card has several layers, each one being 1/2" smaller than the previous. In between each layer are my homemade deminsionals to the card some pop.
