Welcome to the My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party Sneak Peek #2!
All week long, the My Craft Spot DT will be featuring Sneak Peeks from ONE of 5 NEW Stamp Sets. Then on Saturday, September 8th, we will have a Stamp Release Party Blog Hop! There will be TONS of prizes along the way, so you won't want to miss it!
Today's stamp set is Spooky Treats!
All of the NEW Stamp Sets and Metal Dies will available for purchase on Saturday, September 8th.
**WARNING: LONG and PICTURE HEAVY POST**
For my Sneak Peek Project, I used almost HALF - ::wink:wink:: - of the sentiments in the NEW "Spooky Treats" Stamp Set.
With my recent Wisdom Tooth Encounter, I've been thinking about Halloween in a whole different way - NO CANDY! As soon as I saw the BRAND NEW "Spooky Treats" Stamp Sets, I fell in love with the "Spider Cider, Love Potion, Witch's Brew, and Bugs & Hisses" Sentiments. I immediately knew I wanted to make some Spooky K-Cup Treats!
The box was made using the "SqaurBox" and "SqrBxInt" from the Cricut Sweet Tooth Boxes Cartridge. The "SquarBox" was cut at 7-3/4" and the "SqrBxInt" was cut at 8".
I embellished the box with some a Paper Rosette made from two pieces of 1"h x 6"w paper. I topped it with a scalloped circle made from the NEW "Tiny Doilies" Metal Dies layered with a 1-1/2" circle cut with my Cricut and the largest circle from the "Tiny Doilies" Metal Dies stamped with one of the "Stampin' Around Fall" Stamp Set Circle Sentiments.
I added a double-loop bow made from My Craft Spot's "Midnight Black" Crinkle Ribbon and an "Orange Licorice" Twine - available at My Craft Spot. The tag was made from the Cricut Plantin SchoolBook Cartridge and stamped with the "Spooky Treats" Sentiment.
I also used the BRAND NEW "Tiny Doilies" Metal Dies to create the toppers for each of the K-Cups. The circle line border was made using a circle cut from the smallest circle die of the set. I simply traced around it with my pen and then stamped them with the sentiments from the NEW My Craft Spot "Spooky Treats" Stamp Set.
Along with the "Spooky K-Cup Treats" Box, I made a matching card. The papers are from the Echo Park Chillingsworth 6x6 Paper Pad, purchased from the Paper Issues Store.

The card was inspired by an Echo Park Paper Card Sketch. I used A Paper Rosette for the larger circle and replaced the smaller one for some ribbon.
Following the sketch, I stamped the "SCARY" Sentiment from the NEW "Spooky Treats" Stamp Set onto the patterned paper slightly above the Paper Rosette.
It was actually the sketch the inspired me to create the Paper Rosette for both the card and treat box. I embellished it with some black tulle, a 1-3/4" spider cut from the Cricut Doodlecharms Cartridge and a hand-dyed Orange Flower.
I tied some of My Craft Spot's "Midnight Black" Crinkle Ribbon around the card, replacing the second circle. A sentiment strip was added with the "Oct. 31st" Sentiment from the "Spooky Treats" Stamp Set, topped with an "Orange Licorice" twined button.
I used one last sentiment from the "Spooky Treats" Stamp Set being RELEASED on Saturday, September 8th for the card's inside.
Are you still with me? I hope you have enjoyed my project for My Craft Spot's Fall Release Party Sneak Peek #2. Can you count how many sentiments I've used from this Stamp Set? And that's just HALF of them!
