All week long, the My Craft Spot DT will be featuring Sneak Peeks from ONE of 5 NEW Stamp Sets. Then on Saturday, September 8th, we will have a Stamp Release Party Blog Hop! There will be TONS of prizes along the way, so you won't want to miss it!
Today's stamp set is Stampin All Around Fall and Tiny Doiles Metal Dies!
Yes, you read right! My Craft Spot is releasing another set of Metal Dies!!
My Craft Spot's very own Design Team Member Robin from Robin's Creative Cottage designed the "Stampin Around Fall" Stamp Set and Metal Dies, so they coordinate PERFECTLY!
All of the NEW Stamp Sets and Metal Dies will available for purchase on Saturday, September 8th.
For my Sneak Peak Project today, I was inspired by the school themed circle sentiments in the "Stampin Around Fall" Stamp Set. I decided to make a "Mini Teacher Survival Kit" to give to my older son's teacher when school starts.
I used 4 Test Tubes purchased from the Paper Issues Store and filled them with Pencil Cap Erasers, A Sharpie Marker, Push Pins and a Dry Erase Marker. - Don't forget to use your coupon code SCRAPPINCOOKIE for a 20% discount to the Paper Issues Store. -
Each Test Tube was embellished with some Tape Measure Washi Tape, a 1/2" Scalloped Border cut from my Cricut Plantin SchoolBook, and some "Blue Berry Blue" Trendy Twine - available at My Craft Spot.
The Test Tube Holder was made using the Cricut Tags, Bags, Boxes and More2 Cartridge. I used the "BnsCdHdr" Box Section 2 cut at 7-3/8" twice. I welded a 4" RndSqre" to one of the boxes before cutting and added (4) 3/4" circles to insert the Test Tubes. Before assembling the boxes together I removed the flaps from both boxes.
The Test Tube Box was also cut from the Tags, Bags, Boxes and More2 Cartridge, using the "BnsCdHdr" Box Section2 cut at 7-3/8" and the "BnsCdHdr" Box Section1 cut at 7-1/2". Both with an added 7.153"w x 5" rectangle to have the Test Tubes fit inside.
Before placing the Test Tube Holder inside the Box, I added a Scalloped Circle embellishment. Notice how neatly cut my Scalloped Circle is? Well, that is because I used the BRAND NEW My Craft Spot "Tiny Doiles" Metal Dies!! I cut a 1-1/2" circle with my Cricut and the largest circle from the "Tiny Doilies" Metal Dies stamped with one of the "Stampin' Around Fall" Stamp Set Circle Sentiments.
The lid was made using two "TlbxLid" from the Cricut Sweet Tooth Boxes welded side-by-side at 4". I added a double-loop bow made from My Craft Spot's "Snow White" Crinkle Ribbon.
Using some "Blue Berry Blue" Trendy Twine - available at My Craft Spot - I added another Scalloped Tag made from the NEW "Tiny Doilies" Metal Dies stamped with the "#1 Teacher" Circle Sentiment from the NEW "Stampin All Around Fall" Stamp Set.
The "ABC" Sentiment Circle was made using the inner circle of the "Doughnut" Die from the NEW "Tiny Doilies" Metal Dies. I used a piece of my homemade dimensional to adhere it to the tag.
To complete the Mini Teacher Survival Kit, I made a quick Kit Content Card letting the teacher know what each item represents.
I stamped the lower right corner of the card with the "Alphabet" Circle Sentiment from the NEW "Stampin Around Fall" Stamp Set.
I hope you have enjoyed my project for My Craft Spot's Fall Release Party Sneak Peek #1. To see more "Sneak Peaks" of the "Stampin Around Fall" Stamp Set- available for purchase on Saturday, please visit My Craft Spot Blog. You don't want to miss it!
