Santa Gift Tags

Hello Everyone!

I had so much fun playing with the SVG Cutting Files Holiday Hang Tags for my Christmas Advent Calendar, I just had to play with the file some more.

I chose to create a few more of the "Santa Tags" using some cardstock and Doodlebug Design paper scraps.

I used the Peachy Keen PK-1401 Clowning Around 1-1/8th Faces to give my poor Santa his perplexed look. I stamped the "To/From" from the Jaded Blossom Fun Money Stamp Set.

Hope you have enjoyed my quick and easy Santa Tags!

2017 Jaded Blossom December Guest Designer - Christmas Advent Calendar

Hello ScrappinCookie and Jaded Blossom Fans!

I'm so excited to be part of the Jaded Blossom December Guest Designers once again. A very special Thank You to Candace and Michelle for having me.

Today I have a project that I've been wanting to do for over TWO years - an Advent Calendar. Although my boys are now pretty big - 13 and 10 years old - they've always wanted to have an Advent Calendar to countdown to Christmas. And with the help of my Jaded Blossom Products, I was able to put one together for them this year. I just LOVE the way it turned out!!

~*~ Its FULL of little details, so bare with me as I narrow them down and point some out.  ~*~

I made 24 Matchbox Style boxes using the SVG Cutting Files Nugget Matchbox Baseenlarged - and layered them with my Jaded Blossom Rectangle Dies 1 using papers from the Doodlebug Design Milk & Cookies 6x6 Paper Pad.  Each box is embellished with a Jaded Blossom Die, Stamp, or Both. And holds a little treat, message, or daily task. For December 1st, I used the Christmas Tree from the Jaded Blossom Christmas Dies and added some small ornaments from the Dollar Tree.

I used the Jaded Blossom Alphabet Dies and Alphabet Dies 2 to either write out the date or number each box.

Not only did I use MOST of my Jaded Blossom Christmas Stamps, but I also pulled out my Bunny Mail Stamp Set and combined it with the Christmas Candies (revamped) and Christmas Signs to create an envelope for my December 9th Box. We wrote letters to Santa that day!

To make the Advent Calendar special for my boys, I used the SVG Cutting Files Holiday Hang Tags, Chibi Leprechaun 2016 - hair - and Elf Life - red fringe - to turn them into little elves. I then placed each box on the day according to their ages - 2, 10, and 13 years old. Each little box held a special message and gift just for them! Faces are from the Peachy Keen PK-1521 In the Garden II 1-1/8th Faces. For the baby, I added the pacifier from the PK-1201 The Moodies 1-1/8th Faces.

Today's box - Dec 14 - is dressed up with the Jaded Blossom Gingerbread Wishes Set. The Gingerbread Man was die-cut from Kraft Cardstock and embossed with White Powder. I added the sentiment to a die from the Mini Tag Dies 2. When the kids get home from school we will be baking and decorating some Gingerbread Man Cookies. Yum!

I LOVE the way it all turned out, but I think that one of my favorite boxes, besides my Little Elves, has to be December 17. Just look at that Gumdrop Garland from the Jaded Blossom Christmas Banner Dies. I ran each gumdrop thru my Xyron Sticker Maker and then added Martha Stewart Glitter on top. I stamped the "Goody Goody Gumdrops" Sentiment from the Jaded Blossom Gingerbread Wishes Set to a Mini Tag Dies 2 flag strip.

And of course, I had to add Santa - SVG Cutting Files Holiday Hang Tags - to my Advent Calendar on December 24th. I stamped the "HO HO HO" from the Jaded Blossom Christmas Signs Stamp Set.

There is just so much detail put into this Advent Calendar, I wish I knew a faster and shorter way to show it all to you. But here is a FULL List of ALL the Jaded Blossom Products I used.
Flag Dies
Large Snowflake Die

I hope you have enjoyed my Christmas Advent Calendar. Please let me know if you have any questions on products I've used.

Thank You for stopping by!

Thanksgiving Turkey Utensil Place Holder

Hello Everyone!

I'm here today to share with you all some Thanksgiving Turkey Utensil Place Holders for this year's Thanksgiving. These were so quick and fun to put together.

I used the SVG Cutting Files Turkey Fun Size Pocket Holder. These are meant to hold some Fun Size M&M's candy bags, but I'm using them to hold my Thanksgiving Utensils instead. I left the file sized as is, I only made the "feathers" a tad bit smaller to fit two in one sheet of paper.

I cut the base out of cardstock and added some Doodlebug Design Petite Prints. I also cut the feather out of cardstock before adding my patterned paper - Hobby Lobby -, to give each holder some stability.

To double it as a Place Setting, I will be adding a small flag die from the Jaded Blossom Mini Tag Dies 2 with our guests names.

I'll leave you all with one last picture of my Thanksgiving Turkey Utensil Place Holder using clear utensils. I love that you can see thru to see the complete feathers and patterned paper.

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Halloween Nugget Holder Treat Boxes

Hi All,

I'm back today to share with you some Halloween Nugget Holder Treat Boxes.
I just love these SVG Cutting Files Mini Nugget Platform Bases. I think they are perfect holding two small Chocolate Nugget pieces. The file includes just the little Nugget Holder Box so you can dress them up in any way you'd like. I cut mine out of some cardstock and added some Halloween patterned paper scraps.

For the Cute Vampire, I used the Peachy Keen PK-0146 Piles of Smiles 1"no longer available.

For the One-Eyed Monster I used a combination of the Peachy Keen PK-0180 Erkle and Merkle Face Assortment for the eye - I hand drew the blood vessels - and the Peachy Keen PK-0146 Piles of Smiles 1" for the mouth.

All sentiments are from various stamp sets from My Craft Spot - no longer in business. To finish off the boxes, I tied some Bakers Twine to each Nugget Holder.

I hope you have enjoyed my Halloween Nugget Holder Boxes. Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

Zombie Brain Treat Bags

Hello Everyone!

Hope everyone is doing well! Yet again its been a long time since I last posted. I know I promised you all some Back to School Projects, but I just never got around to posting them. So Sorry. But be sure to look for them towards May-June at the End of the School Year, as you can always  change them up a bit for the occasion. 😉

Today I have some Zombie Brain Treat Bags to share with you. I saw these anti-stress Squeeze Brains and thought they would make a really cool non-candy Halloween Treat. I added them to a Jaded Blossom Gusset Bag and added a topper made with the Jaded Blossom Ric Rac Topper. Used the Jaded Blossom Flag Dies and stamped the "Zombie Brain 25cents" from the Jaded Blossom Halloween Signs Stamp Set.

The Zombie Head is from the SVG Cutting Files Halloween Soap Holders. I switched out the eyes for some Peachy Keen PK-1711 Roundy Emojis Face.

The toppers and Zombie Head were cut out from cardstock. The "Brain" was cut from the Doodlebug Design Gingham-Linen Petite Prints and all other patterned papers are from Doodlebug Design Halloween Parade Collection. I used my Xyron Sticker Maker Machines to add adhesive and put all the layers together - so much easier.

I hope you have enjoyed my Zombie Brain Treat Bag. I'd love to hear what you think and if you get inspired by my project, send me a link. I'd love to see your take!

Thanks for stopping by!

St. Patrick's Day Snacks - Leprechaun Hats & Lucky Juice

Hello!

Last week I shared with you all some "Leprechaun Poop" - you can see the post HERE - which was part of a St. Patrick's Day Snack the Room Parents - me - put together for class. I'm here today to show you the complete snack set.

I made some "Leprechaun Hats" out of a clear plastic cup, black cardstock strip, gold pipe cleaner, and green cardstock circle. The grapes were placed inside of a food-safe plastic bag to protect them from any adhesive when sealing the green cardstock to the plastic cup.

I kept juice boxes simple and wrapped them in some patterned paper and added a plastic green straw. To the straw, I added a flag strip stamped with the "Lucky Juice" Sentiment made with my Jaded Blossom Spring Signs 2 Stamp Set.

Lastly, we added a St. Patrick's Day themed doughnut to a clear bag and tied it up with some gold curling string.

I hope this St. Patrick's Day Snack has inspired you to create your own.

Thanks for stopping by!

Leprechaun Poop Treat Bags

Hello Everyone!

I'm back today to share with you all some treat bags I made last year but didn't get a chance to post.

LEPRECHAUN POOP!

The toppers were made with the SVG Cutting Files Ornate Card Base 3 folded in half. I used the SVG Cutting Files Chibi Leprechaun 2016 again, but only used the head this time. I gave him a Peachy Keen PK-146 Piles of Smile 1" - discontinued.

Used a My Craft Spot Flag Strip - no longer in business - to stamp the "Leprechaun Poop" Sentiment made using the Jaded Blossom Spring Signs 2 Stamp Set. Filled a 3x4 Clear Bag - I got mine at Jaded Blossom - with some Skittles and Gold Coins.

There were part of a St. Patrick's Day Snack us Room Parents put together. I will share details on the snack later this week or next. So be sure to come back.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on my LEPRECHAUN POOP - now available at the ScrappinCookie Etsy Store

Leprechaun Gold Nugget Trays

Hello ScrappinCookie Fans!

St. Patrick's Day is next week and I have some FUN treats that are prefect for Teachers, Co-Workers, Friends, etc.

These were actually made last year for a Jaded Blossom Challenge. I started off by making some nugget trays and filling them chocolate nuggets wrapped in some heavy Gold cardstock I found at Michaels. Slipped the trays in a 2.25" x 8" Clear Bag - I got mine from Jaded Blossom - and added a tag.

The tag was made using the SVG Cutting Files Ornate Card Base 3. I added an adorable little Leprechaun made using the SVG Cutting Files Chibi Leprechaun 2016. The face is from Peachy Keen PK-1531 Black Eyed Peachy Faces 1-1/8th.

I tucked in a Flag Strip from My Craft Spot - no longer in business  😩  - stamped with the "Leprechaun Gold" Sentiment made with the Jaded Blossom Spring Signs 2 Stamp Set.  I tied closed the bag with some ribbon, jute string and button.

I'd love you hear your thoughts on my LEPRECHAUN GOLD NUGGET TRAY - now available in the ScrappinCookie Etsy Store.
Be sure to come back soon to see more St. Patrick's Day projects.

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!! - Classroom Treats

Hello Everyone!

Happy Read Across America Day!

A quick post today to share some fun treats and snacks I made for my son's 3rd Grade Class last year. I had the wonderful opportunity to be a Room Parent along with two other wonderful moms and was in charge for snacks and treats throughout the year during Holidays and Events.

We made some Dr. Seuss themed snacks and goodie bags. I filled each bag with a Bookmark, Pencil, and Eraser. The topper was a simple piece of cardstock folded in half and layered with some Dr. Seuss clipart I found online.

Each snack was inspired by a Dr. Seuss book and included a quote from the book. I made some "Hop on Pop" Popcorn filling a Gusset Bag with some Popcorn. Again the topper was a piece of cardstock folded in half and with some online images. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of the other snacks, but we made some "Green Eggs and Ham" Pretzel Bites and "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish" Snack Baggie

And some "The Lorax" Orange Juice. I found an image of the Lorax mustache online and was lucky enough to convert it to an SVG with my SCAL program. Before attaching to the straw, I added some elastic band to them so the kids would be able to wear them as well. Unfortunately, no picture again, but they were a BIG hit.

I hope I have inspired you with some ideas for your next Dr. Seuss Party.

Thank You for stopping by!
